Like most people…okay most men…I can fall in the trap of showing off when I think I’m particularly good at something. Sports are great opportunities for this. Be ware! When it doesn’t go right, showing off has one nasty side effect: making you look like a fool!
In our last episode, Riley finally met up with his blind date (a date set up by our good friend Mitch). Did it go well? Did it go at all? I did say that Mitch set this up right…?
I’ve been trying to branch out more in artwork lately. I really like the way the first panel turned out! I screwed up a bit in the second panel though; I made Tim proportionally too small in comparison to Riley. Overall, I’m liking the progression in art.
Riley’s luck may finally be turning around. His buddy Mitch set him up on a blind date. And now it’s time to finally meet the luck lady. Sounds great right!? What could go wrong?
As for the artwork, I tried to mix up the camera angles this week between panels. It tends to make it a more interesting read. It also makes it more interesting to draw, which keeps me happy (yea!). At the same time I want to avoid making the progression from panel to panel confusing.
